  • Learning and behavioural change increases exponentially as the length of the course increases.
  • People can be defensive to start with but this diminishes with time and skilled training.
  • We can use complex and lengthy exercises/activities to bring out more behaviour and therefore more learning.
  • Beyond 3 days the 'excuses' which people use to block their own learning become more obvious and can then be effectively challenged.
  • In 5 days we generate a 'safe' group environment so we can allow plenty of time for dealing with more personal issues.
  • There is more time to practice the new skills, attitudes and behaviours that have been 'learned'.  People move from 'learning in the head' to doing things differently.
